Privacy Policy

Introduction: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018. It is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing  of personal information within the European Union. As the Parish Council Website contains personal information, this policy outlines the use and management of such data.

Data Collected: The Binbrook Parish Council Website contains contact details for local organisations within the village and surrounding areas. The information is provided by the various bodies and is determined by them. There is no maximum or minimum contact details required.

Why this information is required: The Parish Council Website is provided free of charge to promote the village community and those groups, clubs or services available to residents. Each of the bodies are asked to provide contact information in the most accessible forms to meet their needs. In some cases this is simply a telephone number but could also include full postal addresses. No contact details are published without written consent from the organisation. (See appendix 1). By giving this consent the organisation agrees to the Terms and conditions set out on the website

How long are contact details retained: The is no set length of time for the publication of information. The various clubs or groups may remove or change these details at any time. If data is amended then  written permission is required.

No contact details are passed to a  third party
